The Willamette Action Collective partnered with Mano A Mano Family Center to provide KN95 masks to our farmworkers and their family. When the Covid-19 Pandemic hit Oregon, the people most impacted in our communities where our farmworkers and their families, some of which recieved no support from our government. If you would like to help our by donating click on the botton bellow.
Additionally, in an ongoing PPE campaign, over 10K masks were reallocated within the same timeframe, with a distribution emphasis on wildfire evacuees, Latinx, migrant, and Indigenous communities throughout the Willamette Valley and beyond.
Thank you to Mobile Health Team (Salem) and Masks Oakland (Oakland, CA) for assisting in access to masks. Other organizations involved include: Symbiosis PDX, Southern Oregon Education Service District (SOESD) Mano A Mano Family Center (Salem) Lane County Mutual Aid, NAACP Eugene/Springfield, Cahoots/White Bird Eugene, Rural Organizing Project (Cottage Grove Division), Hilyard Community Center/City of Eugene Adaptive Rec, and the many volunteers that worked hard to help organize and mobilize donated goods.
